Life Story: A life-long New Yorker, Bonita Bean was born to a traditional Italian family on Long Island. While a small town girl at heart, Bonita always had big city dreams, and after college she left the nest box to make it in the Big Apple. Through a grant with the NYFB, she secured a fiber artist-in-residence position in Bunny Town in 2016. Thanks to her unique creative vision, she has since been promoted to Creative Director.
