Throughout history, once-in-a-century events have emerged as markers in our evolution. From ancient plagues to modern day miracles, these occurrences can either mar or mend the human experience—a verdict usually rendered only by the passage of time. But sometimes—if the stars align—we get to witness history in the making, and celebrate the individuals who are on the right side of it.
Since I first heard Dr. Fauci's voice in March, I knew he was one of these individuals. We are all so fortunate to have him fighting for logic and science to prevail over epic dumbassery. I wanted to help Dr. Fauci fight the good fight, but since I don't have any opposable thumbs, making this yarn in his honor is what I could do. It's soft and squishy and from my heart.
I'd like to close with a quote from Dr. Fauci, but taking someone's words and using them wildly out of context is obviously not cool. So I'll just say: yarn is fun.
